Terms of Use

Last updated 25 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Fergpost (“we”, “us”) about your use of Fergpost Tools and its tools. Please read them. By using the site, you accept them.

The short version

1. Accepting these terms

By opening or using Fergpost Tools, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. If you use it for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for that business.

2. What the service is

Fergpost Tools offers free online tools that run in your web browser, such as invoice and estimate makers, trackers, calculators, converters and text, design and developer utilities. We may add, change or remove tools and features at any time.

3. Who can use it

You must be old enough to form a binding agreement where you live. If you are younger, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and supervise your use.

4. Your right to use the tools

We give you a free, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the tools for your own personal or business purposes. We do not give you ownership of the site or its code.

You own what you create. Invoices, estimates, files, notes and other content you produce with the tools belong to you, and we claim no rights in them. Because the content stays on your device, we do not receive it.

5. Acceptable use

When you use Fergpost Tools, you agree not to:

6. Your data and backups

The tools save your work in your browser's storage on your device. We do not keep a copy, so we cannot restore it if it is lost. Clearing your browser data, using a private window, changing browser or device, or a fault with your device can all remove saved work.

You are responsible for keeping your own backups. Many tools let you download one. Please use that option for anything important.

7. Not professional advice

The tools do calculations and create documents from the numbers and wording you enter. They are aids. They are not legal, tax, accounting, financial or other professional advice, and using them does not create a professional relationship with us.

Please speak to a qualified professional about decisions that matter.

8. Third-party services

The site uses third-party services such as Google Fonts and ExchangeRate-API. They are run by other companies under their own terms. We are not responsible for them, and they may change or stop working without notice.

9. Messages and suggestions

You can send us questions, ideas and bug reports through the contact form. Please do not include passwords, payment details or other sensitive information. We may not be able to reply to every message.

If you send us an idea or suggestion, you agree that we may use it freely, without payment or credit to you, and without any obligation to you.

10. Our content and brand

The site, the tools, their code, design, text, logo and the names Fergpost and Fergpost Tools belong to Fergpost or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Open-source components used in the tools stay under their own licences. Except for the rights this agreement gives you, we keep all rights.

11. Accounts and paid features

We are planning optional accounts and paid features, called Fergpost Pro. If we launch them, we will describe them clearly before asking for payment, and extra terms may apply to them. Until then, nothing on this site costs money.

12. Availability and changes

We work to keep the site running, but we do not promise that it will always be available, on time, secure or free of errors. It may be unavailable for maintenance, upgrades or reasons outside our control. We may change or stop any part of the site. If we plan to remove a tool, we will try to give notice so you can export your work.

13. No warranty

To the fullest extent the law allows, the site and tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. That includes any warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some places do not allow certain exclusions, so some of these may not apply to you.

14. Limit of our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost business or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or tools, even if we were told this could happen. This includes loss that comes from relying on a calculation or document you made with the tools.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim related to the site will not exceed US$100.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any consumer rights you have that cannot be waived.

15. Your responsibility

You agree to cover reasonable losses and costs that we suffer because of a claim by someone else that arises from your breach of these terms, from your misuse of the site, or from documents or content you created and shared using the tools.

16. Suspension and ending

You can stop using the site at any time. We may restrict or block access if you break these terms or if we need to protect the site or other people. Sections that are meant to continue after use ends, such as those on intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law, will continue.

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. If you have a complaint, please contact us first so we can try to sort it out informally. If that does not work, the courts of The Bahamas will have jurisdiction, except where the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim in your own courts.

18. General

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part straight away, we have not given it up. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the site. You may not transfer your rights under them, and we may transfer ours as part of a change of ownership of the business. We may give notice by posting it on the site or by email.
